Hey friends!
A friend of mine is a former AH-1W pilot from HMLA-269. I have a 1/35 Academy kit but I want to put decals for his helo on it. No one makes 1/35 decals for his unit. Flying Leathernecks did make a sheet for 1/48 but I can’t find an Italeri 1/48 anywhere. It’s out of production.
Any tips on getting a decal sheet made for 1/35?

Luke’s helo was SN 42. I need to get his tail number as well but… any tips?

Scot has talked several times about a decal maker I think in Texas who does custom decals, mostly for trucks, but doing a helo marking should be no problem – especially with a copy of what you need already in hand! Scot, can you provide the contact info for Nick.

PS Caracal makes a set in 1/32,,,it;s a close fit if you can’t get it in 1/35

I did a bunch of work for Werner’s Wings in 2022/3 for several decal sets in various scales for the AH-1 series. Check his site out to see what has been released.
