Impressive work Chris! The weathering of the hull in particular is really something. I still think it would be really cool to scratch build one of the rescue buoys that accompanied these boats in service. You could display them together at shows and probably clean house in the vignette and diorama classes

SI like that idea Mr Pogan! The buoy looks like it would be a simple build (so says the non-scratchbuilder..gulp). I will see if I can find a schematic/plans for it unless someone has it!
