Assassin Bike

Hey gents here is my first progress report on the female assassin vignette  that occupies the work bench.  The frame and engine is done and the rear wheel assembly is 70% complete.  It will be a 1/12 Yamaha YZF-R1 bike.  I have no idea what that is but I thought it was a cool enough bike for my killer babe that will go with it.  I feel like I can Ross a run for his money now!  ….well maybe not

I will do a custom paint scheme for the bike with the theme of having an assassin rider.  I ordered a spider decal for the area in front of the seat and will come up with some scheme to go with the spider.

Stay tuned!

  1. Well I know what route I would take but this isn’t my build so. I would however respectfully suggest that a color shifting paint job would be very cool on an R1. Testors offers a few variations on the theme, my personal favorite is the green\gold. I like to use a trio of aluminum, steel, and Tamiya Titanium silver on bike frame\drivetrain builds as it keeps everything from becoming a big silver lump. The intake trumpets on your R1 would look lovely in Tamiya Titanium gold, would really make the top half of your engine pop. Its coming together nicely so far Chris. I’m looking forward to seeing the aforementioned killer babe.

  2. Hey Chris, its looking good so far! May I suggest a green\gold color shift paint job? I think that would really pop against the aluminum frame of the bike, your choice of course…Also, your intake trumpets (the small horn dealies on the back of the engine)should be bright aluminum or titanium gold.

  3. It is metallic enamel that changes color depending on viewing angle. From one side it looks like gold flake metallic Green. From another angle it appears to be metallic Gold
